I began Focused Direction to work with older teens so that they could know who they were before leaving home.
What I found was that many mothers were just like me, having an awakening of sorts. I love serving both of these groups.
It fills my heart.
Today I would like to know why you're here and how I can support your needs.
Ever just have that moment when you realize you are stuck in a rut? Whether it be work, daily routine, personal style or relationships.
With a life in constant motion, we often don't give ourselves time to realize what is going on. Yet our lives feel almost like we're trying to run through muck. It's hard, draining, and if you take a moment to look at yourself, it's messy.
The idea of a balanced life is controversial, to say the least. Unobtainable, expected, causes guilt, burnout, it's ridiculous to even to try.
I say forget about what you've been told, what you've read and generally how you have ever thought about it.
Over the past week, I have heard from busy, tired women that they are having trouble finding or taking the time to breathe. What is worse they say it in a hurried tone and dripping with guilt.
Let me repeat that - They feel GUILTY because they are too busy to even take a momentary breath!
YES! There's a better way to live and it doesn't involve exercise, eating clean or changing your schedule. In fact, any change you decide to make was because you WANTED to not because you HAD to.
It doesn't sound very realistic, does it?
But it is completely possible; I'm living proof.
Have you ever looked into the Power of Believing? There is so much to learn. Everything from prayer to Law of Attraction + all that's in-between.
In the past 15 years I've come to realize a few things. The biggest being, I love learning and reading about everything out there to help myself and others. I honestly can't tell you the number of webinars, books, and programs I've gone through because I lost track.
There is so much information available to us to use as tools to help us.
And that right there lies the problem.
I'm talking about the times when we are going about our merry way then BAM!
a moment which makes you cringe and wince, pops into our heads derailing us from the present and leaving us to clean up the mess of a past we can't change while figuring out how to leave it behind in order to move on.
I'm not talking about doing what it takes to make your families happy. What I am saying is that your personal happiness is way more important than you think.
